Travel to the Ukraine is as easy as to any European country. There are several flights to Kiev from Canada but one of the most popular ones is Toronto-Frankfurt-Kiev by Air Canada/Lufthansa. It is a 12-hour travel with a 2-hour stop-over in Frankfurt.

Upon arrival you will be met by one of our experienced associates and escorted along through the steps of the adoption procedure in the Ukraine.

Travel means inside the country include air, train or car. Usually, the preferred method of travel is by train. When travelling to a town not far from Kiev, a car will be arranged for you. Inside the city of your stay where the child resides you will also have an access to a car.

This allows the process to be completed in a timely manner.

Meals

The Ukrainian kitchen is somewhat many parents enjoy. You will have a variety of places to have your meals at: from little Ukrainian cafés and eateries to first-class dining restaurants.

The traditional fast-food restaurants are also wide-spread. You can find McDonald's, pizzerias and other places North-Americans are used to in many cities and towns all over the country.

By comparison, you will spend approximately 2 times less for your meals in the Ukraine as you would in Canada.

What is it like?

Ukraine has a great historical heritage and it has a lot of ways to surprise you with its picturesque sights, places of interest and architectural masterpieces. So, whenever you happen to have a free time on your hands (which happens to be rare),  you could enjoy sightseeing in the city of your stay.
